UAE citizens don't need pre-entry visa for Argentina

UAE citizens holding regular passports can now travel to Argentina without a prior pre-entry visa, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Co-operation (MOFAIC) has announced.

According to Ahmed Elham Al Dhaheri, assistant under-secretary for consular affairs at MoFAIC, the visa waiver is effective as of May 16, with the possibility of a 90-day stay period, a Wam news agency report said.

"This move from the Argentine government reflects the prominent international status that the UAE has attained, opening up further horizons for its citizens, as well as the growing bilateral relations between the two friendly countries across various sectors," theofficial said.
