Terex unit names chief commercial officer

Terex Corporation, a global manufacturer of lifting and material processing products and services, said its key division Genie has appointed Arjun Mirdha as the chief commercial officer for the Terex Aerial Work Platforms (AWP) unit.

In this newly created role, Mirdha will have global responsibility for all aspects of the commercial side of the Terex AWP business for the Genie brand, including sales; commercial operations; marketing; parts; services and lifecycle solutions, said a statement from the company.

He will be based at the company's head office in Redmond, Washington, it added.

An industry veteran, Mirdha had spent 21 years at JCB, most recently as President and CEO of the company’s North America business. He has extensive work experience in Europe, Asia and the US.

He has a MBA and is also a CPA and previously served as a board member of the Association of Equipment Manufacturing (AEM), said the statement.

Announcing the appointment, Matt Fearon, Genie president for Terex AWP, said: "The Genie brand has a leading reputation and position in the global marketplace, and in this new role, Mirdha’s goal will be to grow our organization and opportunities in all the industries we serve."

His experience in the industry will play a vital role in developing deeper customer relationships and improving our commercial operations capability worldwide," he added.
