Discover the art of housekeeping with Ibis hotels

Ibis Dubai Deira City Centre is holding its first “The Art of Housekeeping” event, a five-day programme which features a range of activities and best practices in housekeeping.
Understanding the human psyche and tapping into that sense of serenity when entering a living space that is fresh, organised and well-kept, the aim of the event is to showcase exceptional hospitality standards of the ibis brand with “the Art of Making a Bed’ as well as resetting a room to its freshness as conducted daily by talented housekeeping colleagues. The team at the hotel will unlock housekeeping tips and share their best practices along with the importance of good housekeeping practices. Participants will also have the opportunity to rediscover time-honored and time-tested practices that maintain ibis room comfort and provide that ‘home away from home’ feeling.

AccorHotels Middle East and Majid Al Futtaim, the owning company of Ibis Dubai Deira City Centre, bring this innovative event designed to engage with participants and guests in a quality assurance environment. Enjoy the ultimate comfort bedding, well-designed bed base, generous pillows and soft, cozy duvet with a modern feel. All materials that make an ibis room meet the environmental standards that promote an eco-responsibility with energy-saving lighting, water flow regulators to reduce water consumption and ecolabel hygiene products, including soap.

‘The Art of Hospitality’ also aims to reinforce engagement and connectivity between the housekeeping department and guests. Often referred to as the ‘heart of the house’ or the ‘back bone’ in operations, the housekeeping department at ibis Dubai Deira Centre have made over 1 million beds a year since the hotel opened in 2008.  This translates on average into 20 well-made beds per housekeeper each day, ensuring that guests receive a comfortable and quality driven experience.

Ibis hotels worldwide makes a daily commitment by offering the “15 minutes satisfaction contract”, which strives to resolve any issues that may arise during a guest’s stay in the shortest amount of time.  Characterised as an efficient and caring brand, ibis is also provides the highest level of service brought together in a contemporary setting. To ensure that the guests enjoy a well-deserved rest, ibis, ibis Styles and ibis budget all share three common themes of simplicity, modernity and well-being, while retaining their own distinct personalities.

The Art of Housekeeping takes place from November 2–6 with the inauguration of the event from 11:30am to 12:30pm on November 2 at ibis Dubai Deira City Centre. - TradeArabia News Service
